Cleveland Browns: 4 Future Events That Should Never Happen

Cleveland recently joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Jacksonville Jaguars as organizations that have redone their uniforms. Comparing the multiple options the Browns will now be wearing with the old ones, I do not agree with the team’s decision to make changes to the uniforms.

That is not say I do not like the jerseys. I am not completely on board with any of them, but the orange and white ones does have my interest a bit.

There was nothing wrong with the options Cleveland had before. Browns fans now have to go out and buy brand new jerseys if they want the most up to date gear.

A few months ago–around the time the Browns showed off their new uniforms–the franchise also unveiled a new helmet and logo. Those were solid, but again I was scratching my head when it came to the helmet color.

Why alter the orange color?  The helmet was barely adjusted! Fortunately, it’s still orange, but come on! If Cleveland wanted to make a change that could be more excitable, they could have made the dog logo as the showcased logo on television, in magazines, etc.

This was a marketing improvement to some, but a marketing adjustment to say the least. Those announcements took away from the team’s struggles to win for a period of time but those changes were not necessarily needed.
