Are you ready for some football? How about some real meaningful football? The NFL preseason is over, and finally given way to the regular season. Thursday night the Pittsburgh Steelers and New England Patriots officially kicked the season off. The good news for Cleveland Browns fans? Pittsburgh lost and they’re 0-1! Browns fans can quietly rejoice for at least one more day, as our team isn’t currently in last place.

However, the New York Jets await us this afternoon. That said, there’s still time before the first regular season game to take a final look at the preseason right? Today I bring you the finale in Factory of Sadness’ review of the 2015 Cleveland Browns Preseason.

In parts 1 & 2 of Factory of Sadness’ preseason review, we examined the Browns offense. Breaking down the offense by position, we took a look at the players who might or might not be making an impact this year based on their play in the preseason. Then I asked myself if I thought that this offense could be better than the offenses of recent memory.

My conclusions? Well, you’re going to have to go back to Part 1 and Part 2 to get the full review/analysis. If you want the short story, I do believe the offense will be improved this season. The quarterback position is improved with Josh McCown under center, the offensive line will be stronger, and weapons at wide receiver, tight end, and running back are all improved.

The only questions that remain? Can the defense keep the other teams from scoring and give the offense a chance? How much of an impact will the revamped special teams squads have in setting up the offense and defense for success? Then what are realistic expectations for the Cleveland Browns in 2015?

In Part 3 of Factory of Sadness’ Preseason Review, I’ll break down the Browns defense, revamped special teams units, and finally offer my predictions for the Cleveland Browns in 2015.
