5. Drew Hare Facing A Real Opponent

Northern Illinois quarterback Drew Hare has been dominant in the early going, putting up 360 yards on UNLV and 358 yards on Murray State–but he’s never quite seen a program like Ohio State.

He’s played one Power 5 opponent in his career–and that was Arkansas last September. He threw two scores, but did little to move the offense as he only threw for 179 yards as the Huskies got spanked 52-14.

Now he’s coming into Ohio Stadium with the Buckeyes set to honor Jim Tressel as one of the school’s Hall of Fame inductees at halftime.

Hare won’t know what hit him, especially going against a secondary consisting of Conley, Apple, Vonn Bell and Tyvis Powell.
