Could the Cleveland Browns continue to be stuck in QB drama past the 2015 NFL season?
The Cleveland Browns are .500 after two games this season with a 1-1 record. QB Josh McCown has only played a quarter of play so far in 2015 with QB Johnny Manziel playing the other seven.
Entering this season, McCown was named the starter but the intrigued has always been with the potential of what Manziel can do. As the Browns get prepared to face the Oakland Raiders this weekend, McCown is now healthy enough to start again.
He is not only healthy enough to start, he is going to be the guy for Cleveland. The Browns were not expected to be in the running for a playoff spot, so why not start McCown or Manziel (where ever you fall on that debate)?
What if McCown stays healthy now and at least plays decently to remain the starter? That would mean basically two years have gone by with nothing to show of Manziel’s progress and if he can play.
Where does that leave Manziel? What is his future with the Browns? The FoS team gives their thoughts.
