My Prediction:
I know many people aren’t psyched about McCown starting against Oakland and in all honestly I disagree with the decision as well.
However, I think the city of Cleveland is still in good hands this Sunday. I believe that McCown is more than good enough to win the matchup between he and Oakland’s awful pass defense.
Not only that, but the Browns will cause many problems for the Raiders offense. Carr, Cooper and Crabtree is a solid passing trio, but I’ll take the Browns secondary over them every day.
If the Browns can (at the very least) weather the storm of the Oakland Raiders run game, then Oakland won’t be able to move the ball very well against the good guys.
Combine that with the fact that the Browns are playing in front of the loud and crazy Dawg Pound (which many people are taking pride in this year). There’s a good chance that the Browns take home another W this weekend and I’ll gladly side with those odds!
Oakland Raiders- 13
