Prediction

The Browns have their work cut out for them this weekend. Not only does Cleveland has to take on one of the hottest teams in the NFL right now, but they have to go on the road to the toughest place to play in the NFL to do so.

A lot of things are playing against the Browns’ favor. While I would love to call for a ground-breaking upset given all the advantages Seattle has going into this game, I simply can’t bring myself to do it.

Manziel has not done enough to show me that he is ready to take on an elite defense such as Seattle’s. The Browns’ defense also has not done enough to show me that they can stop such a balanced offense like Seattle’s.

If the Browns can run the ball effectively against Seattle and get sacks on Wilson, then that will give Cleveland a better chance of winning. Unfortunately, the Browns will be not be able to pull both off and even if they did, Cleveland would need help from Manziel and the team’s run defense.

I will take the Seahawks to win and cover the spread.
