Cleveland Browns: 10 Players Who Should Not Be Back In ’16
By Ryan Rosko
2. Justin Gilbert
Gilbert is another player who missed games either by being healthy but was inactive or was injured. Gilbert has not been the player the Cleveland Browns envisioned him being when they drafted him. The plan to start Gilbert opposite Joe Haden cannot even be an option any longer.
In addition to his bad play, Gilbert also has acted poorly away from the field with his own off the field issues. Remember, he also refused to go back into a game earlier this season, but Gilbert denied that was the case. The cornerbacks for the Browns have their issues and for two seasons, Gilbert has been more of the problem instead of the solution.
Gilbert played in nine games in 2015 and in those games he compiled just four tackles. So far Gilbert has only one interception. His return ability was supposed to be just an added dimension to his game, but as of now it is the only decent part.
Gilbert has two seasons left on his contract and yes he only played seasons, and if he is not already a bust among teams he should be soon.

Gilbert needs a complete 360 with his attitude and play to have any chance of a somewhat successful career.
