Play On The Court Dictates Team’s Plans Moving Forward

As long as the wins continue to roll in, then there’s no problem right? Well, one believe so, but nothing is guaranteed, so playing down the stretch and into the playoffs will determine a lot.

The play of the Cleveland Cavaliers’ “Big Three” requires improvement. Off the court issues do not help themselves achieve the goals that they set either. Why is all of this attention all of a sudden surrounding the team?

Kevin Love needs to make his presence known that the team needs to give him the ball more often. Kyrie Irving also has to take his play to another level (regardless of whether he really wants to play with LeBron James or not). Speaking of James, it is beyond the annoyance factor now with all of the complaining James does during the games.

This team is more than capable of winning a minimum of one NBA Championship. The driving force is James however and he needs to realize as the main leader, he needs Love and Irving. James is not good enough to win a championship on his own — no one is. That said the issues are able to be fixed and they must be resolved. Doing that should allow them to stay together for quite a while. If it is not fixed, however, anything could happen, likely a change(s) coming sooner rather than later.

James, Love, and Irving need to learn to give and take better. There is so much potential among the trio that James has to let the other two lead as well in their own ways.

Doing that could prolong this trio even longer than we may expect, but the key once again is how far did the Cleveland Cavaliers go and what was each of those players’ impact?
