Yes But For How Long?

Corey Kluber should rebound no problem as he continues in his role as the Tribe’s ace. If his spring training stats are any indication as to how well he will do, then the Cleveland Indians could see a repeat of his 2014 season!

I am confident that Kluber can succeed once again at a high level this season. However, his success will be determined by the Cleveland Indians defense and offensive production just like his fellow starters.

The former rather than the later is more secure but the offense does have potential. Then again, that aspect of the game still needs to add more power, so the fans and the team must hope for the best.

Despite all of that, I do not see Kluber matching his statistics from the 2014 season, but he will come close to that. Kluber should finish with a 15 win season, which is more than possible.

Heading into the 2016 regular season, Kluber remains the ace for the Cleveland Indians pitching staff. Depending on how much help Kluber gets this year will dictate how much success he will he have.

One thing to keep in mind is that Kluber may not be the ace for long. The talent within the starting pitching staff would be a huge reason why should a change could happen.

By the end of the season, that change may occur but it is highly unlikely. There will be no co-aces at any point in 2016, but as Kluber gets older and the other pitchers continue to improve, we could see a new ace for the 2017 season.
