Tyler Naquin

Tyler Naquin, 24, was the Tribe’s first round pick in the 2012 MLB Draft. With no MLB experience, the rookie’s time to shine is now.

Naquin has absolutely shredded opposing pitchers during Spring Training. He leads the club in hits (21), is batting .467, and has three home runs to go along with five runs batted in. How could Francona not give this kid a spot on the Opening Day roster?

Abraham Almonte in center would have been ideal, but steroids are apparently banned in the MLB.

Naquin split time with Double-A Akron and Triple-A Columbus in 2015. His combined totals included a .300 batting average, seven long balls and 27 runs batted in. All while patrolling centerfield with his superb athleticism.

Naquin may be a virtual unknown to the casual fan, but he needs to take advantage of his first experience in the Bigs.

Abraham Almonte in center would have been ideal, but steroids are apparently banned in the MLB. Oh, well.
