2. Running Back

One of the biggest holes to fill will be replacing the second all-time rusher in Ohio State history in Ezekiel Elliot.

Bri’onte Dunn, a fifth-year senior who rushed for 95 yards on 15 carries last season,  missed spring practice due to class, is neck-and-neck with Mike Weber according to Urban Meyer.

I am expecting both of them to make big impact for the Buckeyes. I think fifth-year senior Mike Weber will get more playing time towards the beginning of the year, but I expect Dunn to threaten to start very soon.

Weber is a red shirt freshman who had an extraordinary career at Cass Tech in Detroit where he was the No. 1 recruit out of Michigan.

Being back up to them will be Antonio Williams who is an incoming freshman from North Carolina.

It should be interesting to see how this group of running backs can run behind the offensive line that has only two players who have seen a good amount of minutes. It will be a challenge for not only the lineman to mesh not only together but for the running back to feel comfortable running behind the lineman.
