Tribe Holds Steady

The only move the Cleveland Indians should make would be one move to help improve the bullpen. While everyone’s been asking for a power bat, it’s been pretty evident lately that the Indians offense has done well without adding another bat to their lineup.

All of the Cleveland Indians success has come on offense without arguably their best player in the lineup (Michael Brantley). On the other hand, the bullpen has been really scary (for lack of a better word) throughout the season.

While they have not lost the Tribe many games per se, the bullpen has come dangerously close to doing so a few times. If I wanted to make any moves this offseason I would definitely start there.

However, as Joe said, there are not many pieces the Indians are willing to trade in order to get relievers. I’m sure they would do their best to keep their rotation as is given their success.

Cleveland’s lineup is producing runs on the offensive side so I don’t see many players being moved on that side either. The Indians might just be better off not fixing what is not broken and riding the wave they have already started and seeing where it lands them in October.
