2016 Cleveland Browns Fantasy Football Preview
Tight End: Gary Barnidge
Stats: 79 catches, 1,043 receiving yards, 9 TDs; 16 games played
No one saw Gary Barnidge’s breakout season coming in 2015. He more than doubled his career totals in receptions, yards and touchdowns en-route to a Pro Bowl berth. At points last year, Barnidge was posting Rob Gronkowski-like numbers week in and week out.
This season, it is going to be easy for Barnidge to take a step back, especially in a new offense with a new quarterback and additional weapons around him. However, he has quickly established chemistry with RGIII, catching a touchdown in the second preseason game. For a player that gets open as much as Barnidge does, targets will be abundant.
The possibility remains that Barnidge’s performance last year was simply a fluke. He had not produced last year’s stats in his previous seven years in the NFL. However, in what is a very good situation for pass catchers, Barnidge can safely be rostered as a middling TE1.

He is every week starter for one’s fantasy team.
Kicker
Kicker Patrick Murray and the Browns’ defense are not fantasy options. Avoid these positions at all costs.
