In this week’s Tuesday Takedown, we’ll take a look back at Sunday’s game between the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens. We’ll recap the highlights, lowlights, and injuries. We also will evaluate Philadelphia Eagles QB Carson Wentz‘s success.

They say that “Pimpin Ain’t Easy,” but as Cleveland fans know, being specifically a Cleveland Browns fan isn’t easy either. The Browns are two games in, two quarterbacks down, and Wentz had another impressive game on Monday. To say that they are cursed is an understatement.

Since 1999, every media outlet drives a stake into our fandom by reminding us of their quarterback futility. It’s gotten to the point that fans were upset with Cleveland for not  drafting quarterbacks Wentz or Jared Goff.

Instead, the new regime and head coach Hue Jackson went all in on Robert Griffin III; Cleveland’s 25th different starting quarterback since 1999!

Well, he didn’t even make it through his first career start. Now, three weeks into the 2016 season, and Cleveland is looking at starting Cody Kessler, their third-string quarterback. Meanwhile, in Philadelphia the quarterback we passed on in Wentz is finding success and his team is 2-0.

So how did we get here and where do we go from here? Well, to get a better idea we will take a look back at Sunday’s game. There were a lot of great things that happened, some negatives, and of course the injuries.

Those injuries led to Kessler being named the starter. We’ll try to figure out how the Browns can win with him. Finally, we will look at how Wentz’s early success and the Browns current situation affects the front office perceptions in the eyes of the fans.
