5 Predictions For The 2016 MLB Postseason
By Eric Pitcher
1. Clayton Kershaw Will Be The ”Regular Season” Kershaw
Clayton Kershaw is one of the best, if not the best regular season pitcher fans have ever seen. In the playoffs though, that is a different story. Kershaw has a record of 2-6 and an ERA of 4.59. For a pitcher of his caliber you would think that he would have the stuff to make it work in the playoffs.
In the NLDS the Los Angeles Dodgers will be taking on the Washington Nationals. Kershaw has the ball for game one and most likely for a game five as well.
It is time for him to get over this hump, and stop underperforming in the postseason. Now is the time to start showing everyone that he is the real deal.

The Dodgers lineup is going to need to take advantage of a Washington team whose starting pitching is in deep trouble. There will most likely be no Stephen Strausburg in the NLDS.
After Max Scherzer t he Nationals are really slim. Gio Gonzalez has an ERA of 4.57. After that there is basically no playoff experience in Tanner Roark. Roark has one start in the postseason and is 0-1 in that one start.
Look for the Dodgers bats to get hot in this series and for Kershaw to have at-least one very, very strong outing in game 1.
