5 Predictions For The 2016 MLB Postseason

3. The Blue Jays Will Upset The Rangers
The Toronto Blue Jays did what the Toronto Blue Jays do. They won, in dramatic fashion again. This time it wasn’t Jose Bautista. It was Edwin Encarnacion in the bottom of the 11th inning. On a ball that looked as if it might land in Texas upon landing..
The Blue Jays are a team you can’t bet against, no matter how good the opposing team is. With their combination of power and unexpected pitching, Toronto is a very tough team to go up against in a series.
Aaron Sanchez posted a 15-2 record and an AL leading 3 ERA. Sanchez wasn’t alone though, as J.A. Happ was a 20 game winner. Despite only having a 9-9 record, Marco Estrada had a 3.48 ERA in 29 starts. Then in the Wild Card game we saw how well Marcus Stroman can pitch on the biggest of stages.
The Texas Rangers are going to send Cole Hamles, who has struggled against the Blue Jays in the past to the mound. In the regular season, Hamels is 0-2 with a 6.97 ERA. In the postseason against the Blue Jays, Hamels is 0-1 with a 2.70 ERA in two starts.
The Blue Jays will take game one in Texas, come home, and win both games at home to send the Rangers packing.Hopefully the series is as drama-filled as it was earlier in the season.
