I completely agree with Joe. In so many ways the Cleveland Browns are a disappointment. From scouting, drafting, coaching, progression throughout the season, and everything in between, the Browns are very tough to watch.

Cleveland fans are very loyal. They are most loyal in all of sports. Yet, I cannot say that is the case for some of the younger Ohio football fans.

Cleveland’s inability to improve and not be the NFL basement has hurt with fandom regarding those younger fans. Most, not all of them instead are fans of other AFC North fans or other teams with exciting and popular players on the roster.

I am confident Hue Jackson can turn the Browns around, but understandably I would not bet on it. Cleveland’s regime has seen what has failed in the past. Yet, they have continued in similar ways to build the roster like previous regimes.

The severe lack of talent is not only embarrassing, it downright should not happen. I get that right now Cleveland is gutting their roster, but it is again the same old story with their talent level.

I predicted that Cleveland would win three games before the season. Sure, it is still possible, but look at how they have played!

With no security at quarterback and little help along the offensive line (among issues), they deserve their record. Only time will change Cleveland’s perception, but it won’t happen early enough to help the season.
