Add more bullpen depth

Andrew Miller isn’t going anywhere. Neither is Cody Allen. Bryan Shaw is still very effective.

Indians fans saw one of the greatest bullpen efforts known to MLB during the Indians march toward the Fall Classic.

So why not make it better?

The window to win is open right now, and the Indians have prospects to trade.

That’s the good thing about having prospects. Not everyone is going to pan out. If you’re a team on the verge of winning and you can move some minor leaguers for proven MLB talent, why not do it?

Tyler Thornburg‘s name came up during the trade deadline, and it would be great for the Indians to try and pry him away from the Brewers.

He’s poised to enter the season as Milwaukee’s closer in 2017, there’s no doubt the Brewers will want some goods in return.

Thornburg, a 28-year-old righty, posted a 2.15 ERA during the 2016 campaign. He struck out 90 in 67 innings. How’d he look with Shaw, Miller and Allen?
