Wins Are Still Possible, Just Don’t Expect Them

Ryan Rosko

Cleveland at most was going to win three games this season. Given their record though, they will be lucky to win no more than two; The most likely number is one however.

This weekend’s game versus Dallas could be a trap game. If the Browns play well, then this is the week their losing streak could snap. Should they lose, it is hard to find a possible game where Cleveland could win.

The Browns rarely win division games, so there’s four more losses. San Diego has been playing better lately, so if Cleveland is unable to win Sunday, their best chance at a win would be in Week 15 versus Buffalo.

Regardless of what happens over the last half of the season, Cleveland will be selecting in the top three (most likely first) in the 2017 NFL Draft. There are simply too many holes on the Browns’ roster to really compete, which was obvious in the first eight games.

In order for a win to happen, Cleveland must execute all factors of a game for the full duration.  The Browns have the right coach to lead this team in Hue Jackson, but he simply needs talent.

I would say it is 50/50 that Cleveland ends up with a win in 2016. That said, I would lean towards a winless year. Although there are wins Cleveland could get this season, expect them to be added to the list of winless NFL teams at the end of the season.
