Mike Dunn, RP

Lefty reliever Mike Dunn is the Miami Marlins all-time leader in appearances (405). He’s not a pure specialist, and it would be nice to get another lefty in the pen to accompany Andrew Miller.

Although Dunn missed the first two months of the 2016 season with a forearm strain, he returned healthy enough to log 51 more appearances, which equated into a 0.6 WAR.

At 31, Dunn could be a possibility, because he should be affordable. He didn’t blow batters away, though, which puts him into the Indians price range.

Lefties slashed .278/.310/.392, while righties slashed (.263/.341/425). He had a 3.40 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and he struck out 38 in 42 1/3 innings.

He’s not a dominant arm out of the pen, but he can still be effective.
