The team is still playing hard his watch. Cleveland’s coming off a bye and the players know what it would mean to their head coach to break this 12-game losing streak by getting a win against his former team.
This may sound kind of Rah-Rah, but believe me, no one on the Browns wants to be part of an 0-16 squad.
Just ask Detroit and former Lions quarterback Drew Stanton.
“I don’t wish that on anybody,” Stanton told ESPN.
Fans will rejoice over having the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft, but just imagine what the players have to go through this offseason. Will anyone admit they’re a Cleveland Brown?
Here’s what former Lion Cliff Avril has to say: “The worst part about (going 0-16) was the offseason,” Avril said. “I couldn’t tell people I played for the Lions.”
The Browns want to win this one and the team can see Cincinnati faults. This games at home, and it won’t be too filled with Bengals fans since their team has been a major let down.
