The 2017 NFL Draft will offer the Cleveland Browns yet another chance to fix their quarterback problem. Here’s five quarterbacks the Browns should consider after the first round.

After an active first day of NFL free agency, March 9, fans of the Cleveland Browns have found themselves guess as to how the team will address the quarterback position for the 2017 season.

As it stands two months before the NFL Draft, the Browns quarterback room would consist of Cody Kessler, Brock Osweiler and Kevin Hogan. If Osweiler makes to mini-camp with Osweiler, it may be a miracle. Two days after being traded, the $16 million man revealed the Browns had yet to indicate how they will utilize the quarterback.

The Browns have reportedly trying to trade for New England Patriots backup Jimmy Garoppolo. The rumor mill has been cranking out stories of the Browns offering two second rounders for Jimmy G, while it’s also been said the Patriots are demanding the No. 1 pick.

Then, there’s that great gleam of hope that comes around every year for Browns Town, the NFL Draft.

More from Factory of Sadness

With three picks in the top 33, Cleveland is in a great position to land one of the better quarterback prospects in the draft (Mitch Trubisky, DeShone Kizer and Deshaun Watson).

With that said, the 2017 NFL Draft is widely regarded as a poor one for top quarterback talent.

If the Browns decide not to take the plunge by taking a quarterback early, they could always take a developmental project later in the draft. Heck, maybe they do draft Trubisky or Kizer and decide to take another prospect later on. At this point of the franchise’s sad history, it wouldn’t be the worst idea.
