Cleveland Browns: Five Non-QB Options For The 12th Overall Pick
By Ryan Rosko
Add A Talented WR
Yes, the Browns added Britt this offseason and Coleman should improve in his second season. Even if Gordon is back and read to roll, he cannot be completely relied upon.
In addition, the other wide receivers are far from polished and are works in progress. Why not go ahead and add another quality wide receiver if given the opportunity? That is why Western Michigan’s Corey Davis comes into play.
Davis is battling a foot injury and that is why he could not provide a complete audition to teams this offseason. As a result, he could slide a bit down the order.
Davis is my second ranked player at his position and 11th overall. He makes plays constantly and is poised to be a WR1 in the NFL soon.
Should Cleveland be able to add Davis, by year two Coleman and Davis could be the future at the position. I am viewing the position as a wild card because of the uncertainty with Gordon.
At best, Gordon, Coleman, and Davis would provide the Browns a dynamic trio. If all three were on the team together, good luck opposing defenses! Pick your poison, because they are not going to stop all three of those play-makers.
