Jabrill Peppers, S

Pundits are talking about how Jabrill Peppers doesn’t have a position to play and I just can’t take anymore!

The Browns have a glaring need at safety. Peppers is projected to be a safety in the NFL. Problem solved.

In addition to his role in the secondary, think back to how how Troy Polamalu acted as a “support linebacker” during his hey day with the Steelers. Expect Williams to use Peppers the same way.

He can show blitz, drop back into coverage, and he can throw down some licks on ball carriers.

Plus, Hue Jackson has plans to use Peppers on offense, and why wouldn’t he? America learned Peppers’ name because of his exploits as a three-way player. It’d be foolish for the Browns not to extract every ounce of potential out of the 21-year-old, as Jim Harbaugh did at Michigan.

Peppers’ role in the punt return game shouldn’t be looked either. When was the last time the Browns actually possessed the ability to flip the field on an opponent. Two years ago when Travis Benjamin was finally healthy?

This is another glaring need the Browns need to fix. It seemed like last season, Cleveland punt returners were just content to catch the ball and not mess anything up.

This is the NFL. Time to make some plays, and Peppers shouldn’t disappoint.
