6. 2015 Cleveland Cavaliers

Looking back at the 2015 Finals, it’s hard to rank this squad because of the massive injuries in incurred on the road to the Finals.

Kyrie Irving, LeBron and Kevin Love used a lot of this season to figure each other out. It appeared clunky at times, and many a fan questioned whether David Blatt had any idea what he was doing as a head coach in the NBA.

This team had the third best offensive rating in the NBA (111.0), but wasn’t very good defensively, ranking 18th out the 30 teams.

Usually, championship caliber teams rank somewhere in the top 10 defensively.

But when you’ve got LeBron James, you can go ahead and throw everything out the window once the playoffs start.

Kevin Love didn’t make it out of the first round, and Kyrie Irving lasted just two games in the Finals.

Yet LeBron, Matthew Dellavedova, J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert and Tristan Thompson actually had a lead at one point in this series.

Ultimately, the Warriors had too much fire power, but it says something about this team that they were able to take such a great to six games without two of its major players available.
