The Cleveland Browns 2nd unofficial depth chart was released prior to a Monday Night Football game against the Saints and these are the 5 biggest surprises.

In preseason Week 2, the Cleveland Browns will host the New York Giants on Monday Night Football.

With three first-round draft picks and a quarterback conundrum engulfing Berea, there will be plenty for Jon Gruden and company to talk about.

There weren’t a lot of changes on the Cleveland Browns unofficial depth chart, but that doesn’t mean the list came without surprise.

Here’s the five biggest surprises from the second depth chart.

1. Nate Orchard still buried

Nate Orchard showed us why he’s going to make a case to start opposite Myles Garrett at defensive end, but one preseason game wasn’t enough to help his case.

Orchard, a second-round pick from 2015, is listed third, behind Emmanuel Ogbah and Carl Nassib on the depth chart.

Just like the quarterback depth chart, this position might be a little deceiving because Orchard has actually been backing up Garrett during the week in practice.

Regardless of where he’s at, he’s going to play a lot and if shows up and shows out for a second week, Hue Jackson and Gregg Williams will certainly take notice, especially if Ogbah continues his quiet camp.

Granted, it was one preseason game, but if you weren’t looking for him, you wouldn’t know Ogbah was on the field against the Saints.

Logic would say that Ogbah should be freed up to dominate because of the attention teams must pay to Garrett on the other side. He can’t go quiet into the night for a second straight contest, especially under the bright, Monday night lights.
