Wendell Carter, PF, Duke

With the NBA trying to play small ball to catch up with the Golden State Warriors, which is why Duke signee Wendell Carter would be a great fit for the Cavaliers, especially if LeBron stays.

In college this season, you’ll notice Carter to be a physical intimidating force, who possesses a 7-foot wing span on his 6-9, 255-pound frame.

This forward forward will be a force in the paint, as you’d expect him to be, but he’s also got a nice touch from 15-feet. If he works on expanding his shooting range, lookout. He might have Draymond Green potential.

While playing for Coach K this season, the legendary sideline general will probably transform Carter into one of the most formidable front court players in the country.

ESPN.com rated Carter as its fifth best college prospect heading into this season.
