The Cleveland Browns are on the road in Week 3 versus the Indianapolis Colts. For more coverage prior to Sunday’s game, we discussed the matchup with Horseshoe Heroes.

Week 3 for the Cleveland Browns finds themselves in an all to familiar position. In this case, that is a bad thing as once again they are winless.

Is this week going to be the day that changes? It very well could be but it is also far from a guarantee. Yes, Cleveland is facing a fellow winless team in the Indianapolis Colts, but they haven’t won on the road since 2015 versus the Baltimore Ravens.

For more insight into the Browns/Colts game, Horseshoe Heroes‘ Site Expert Andrew Ites answered six questions for Sunday.

More from Factory of Sadness

FoS: Without Andrew Luck, is the Colts’ QB situation the worst in the NFL?

AI: It was before the Colts traded for Jacoby Brissett. Brissett would probably be the best quarterback on the Jets’ roster right now.

FoS: If Luck doesn’t play for a significant amount of time this season, who do you prefer to be the QB – Jacoby Brissett or Scott Tolzien?

AI: I prefer Brissett, and it’s not particularly close. He’s only 23 years old, and he looked like a major upgrade over Tolzien in his first start even though he’s only had two weeks to learn the playbook.

FoS: What must Indy do to put them in a position to win this week and going forward without 12 o the field?

AI: The Colts need to be able to run the ball. They’ve averaged 75.5 yards rushing over the first two games. You need to support a young, inexperienced QB with a solid run game.

FoS: Is it safe to assume if opposing defenses (including the Browns’) shutdown Frank Gore they will win?

AI: If I were the Browns I’d be more worried about rookie RB Marlon Mack. He’s extremely inconsistent, but he’s much more explosive and dangerous than Gore is at this point in his career.

FoS: What should the Colts be the most concerned and/or optimistic about facing Cleveland on Sunday?

AI: They need to protect the quarterback. The offensive line has given up four sacks in each of the first two games.

FoS: How do you see Sunday’s game playing out?

AI: I think it will probably play out much like last week’s Colts-Cardinals game. Very close and probably low scoring with less than ideal execution on both sides.

We thank Andrew for his contributions into this weekend’s game and hopefully Week 3 is an exciting game to watch, unlike last week’s.
