5 reasons the Cleveland Browns will beat the Bengals in Week 4
Duuuuuuuuuke
While the spotlight was cast over the Bengals’ lackluster offense heading into their Week 3 loss at Green Bay, they’re defense hasn’t been putting on any clinics to show your kids, either.
Marvin Lewis will welcome back Vontaze Burfict back from suspension for this one, and he’ll be needed on a defense that’s ranked 21st in the NFL in rushing, and 28th against the pass.
There’s going to be opportunities for Browns coach Hue Jackson to run the ball, which is what the Dawg Pound’s been clamoring for all year.
I think we saw a little more out of the run game in Indianapolis, but it became tough to maintain it when the Browns faced a 21-point deficit
The stats say the Browns rushed the ball just 21 times with Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson rushing a combined 14 times.
It’s hard to blame the Crowell for not producing big numbers being given the ball just 12 times, but Johnson on the other hand–this is a man we need to see more of.
He racked up 24 yards on two carries, and he may be the Browns best receiver. No, i’m not talking about putting him in the slot, rather, he’s a try playmaker catching balls out of the backfield. Johnson had six catches for 81 yards.
He can be Kizer’s safety valve, and a dangerous one at that.
