Sashi Brown addressed the media following the Bye Week, as the Cleveland Browns head into Week 10 with an 0-8 mark.

Brown had plenty to answer for, as the off week proved to be a public relations nightmare for the organization.

So, if you were expecting Sashi to come everyone down, you’re going to be disappointed.

Here’s the biggest head scratchers and missteps from his press conference.

1. Pits the Browns as the victims

Sashi Brown tried to make the Browns look like the victim, when asked about the 49ers trade of a second-round pick for New England backup Jimmy Garoppolo.

Brown basically threw his hands up in the air, and said, “Welp, there was nothing we could do.”

Talk about beefing this question hard, especially since he’s had all week to prepare for it.

No one in Browns town wants to hear that Sashi. Why weren’t you being proactive? Instead there are rumors flying around that you were clocking out of the offices at 5 p.m.

Here’s exactly what he said, from Cleveland.com.

"“We’ll never know what’s in the minds of other teams. We have no control over that.”"

Excuse me why I try to remove my face from my palm.

Long story short, the Browns weren’t aggressive. We’re talking about the freaking trade deadline here. If you want someone, and it’s clear the Browns have wanted Jimmy G in the past, pick up the phone and make a call.

But Sashi wouldnt’ even admit that the Browns tried to call, meaning they didn’t. If they had called, believe me, they’d say so.

Of course, Pats coach Bill Belichick may have been weary about dealing with the Browns all together, as ESPN’s Adam Schefter noted.
