The Cleveland Indians should consider making these four trades as the MLB hot stove season starts heating up.

Fans of the Cleveland Indians enter the hot stove season with a bad  taste in their mouthes leftover from the Tribe’s early playoff exit in the ALDS.

The Tribe’s front office will be looking for ways to improve the team, but some themes Tribe fans have grown accustomed too will be in play.

The Indians aren’t going to sign J.D. Martinez to stabilize the outfield. The former Tiger is seeking around $200 million, and that’s way out of the Indians price ranger.

If the Indians make a move, look for the Tribe to do something via trade, according to Cleveland.com’s Terry Pluto. Pluto wrote that the Tribe estimates a $125 million payroll in 2018, which would be close to last season.

The Tribe won’t be looking to spend more, which is why a trade is more likely.

"“The Indians do plan to be active on the trade market,” Pluto wrote."

The Indians are in a tough spot, because they will be picked to win the AL Central again in 2018. With that in mind, the Tribe isn’t going to be looking to give away a ton of big-league talent. Of course, there may be an exception or two.

Here’s four trades the Indians should make this offseason.
