10 moves the Cleveland Browns must make during the 2018 offseason
9. Start feeling good about Zane
Zane Gonzalez finished the year on a high note, making a 53-yarder on a cold, cold day in Pittsburgh when the football might as well have been rock.
Gonzalez was 13 of 15 on field goal attempts dating back to Oct. 15. Before then, he was 2 of 5.
Don’t forget, Gonzalez was also a rookie, and the Browns chose to keep him over Cody Parkey coming out of training camp.
Some of his early misses were costly, but there’s no denying Gonzalez got better in the second half of the season.
With that in mid, the Browns still need to consider brining in some competition for Gonzalez.
