Ziggy Ansah, DE, Lions

Ziggy Ansah is likely to sign a huge deal this offseason, so why not come to Cleveland–a team with over $100 million in cap space.

Imagine lining up Ansah and Myles Garrett as your defensive ends with 2016 second-round pick Emmanuel Ogbah around to fill in when needed.

What makes Ansah even more desirable is the Browns current position in the draft. If Cleveland had their franchise quarterback, they could afford to take this year’s top college pass rusher, Bradley Chubb, somewhere in the top four.

However, they don’t, which means Sam Darnold or Josh Rosen is likely to be the No. 1 pick.

So, it’s a position that needs upgraded, why not just throw a bunch of money at the problem?

Ansah’s market will be an interesting to monitor because his last two years have been riddled by injury, although he posted 12 sacks in 2017.

Another reason to like Ansah…how about 15 tackles for a loss. The thought of Ansah and Garrett making plays at defensive end…don’t wake me up from this dream!
