Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James gave his two cents on the future of Oklahoma point guard Trae Young. Who knows perhaps the two becomes teammates.

LeBron James and the rest of the Cleveland Cavaliers are very busy right now. Not only are they implementing multiple players into their system, but the team is doing so while also trying to make up ground in the eastern conference.

Despite the responsibilities, make no mistake James and company are aware of what some of the top NBA draft prospects can offer.

Popular prospect names have included Real Madrid guard Luka Doncic and Duke power forward/center Marvin Bagley III.

However, one name that has been known and is continuing to make some noise is Oklahoma’s Trae Young. The talented freshman is expected to be a top-10 pick.

Exactly how early he goes remains to be seen, but in James’ eyes, it doesn’t matter. In an interview courtesy of Slam Online, James gave his opinion on Young’s NBA future.

About a minute into the interview was when James first discussed Young. At that time, this statement stood out:

"What decision? That ain’t no decision… He better go pro."

What do you expect him to say? Young is one of the best players in the nation and even if you haven’t watched a game of his yet but have heard about him, just take James’ and everyone who has watched him word for it.

If it weren’t for the Brooklyn Nets’ pick, Cleveland would not be in consideration to draft Young. At 29.5 points/game and 9.4 assists/game, he certainly puts up the numbers.

If I were to point out just one specific aspect of his game I like the most, it would be his passing ability. Although I get the comparisons to Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry, for me he plays more like San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker.

The possibility is very real and alive for Young to be drafted by Cleveland. One aspect of his game though I’d question a little bit is his shot selection.

While Young is very good, Doncic is a more complete guard. Take that for what it is worth as teams will have both of them in different orders because it all depends on how they plan to use them.

Young is an exciting player. If everything falls right, Cavaliers fans may get the opportunity to see both Young and James on the same team. Should such an outcome happen, Cleveland would be even more exciting to watch!
