Dating back to 1999, who are the best players in Cleveland Browns’ history?

Despite years of losing the Cleveland Browns have had talent on their roster since returning to the NFL in 1999. Had the franchise not left, perhaps they would not be in the mess they are in.

In addition, maybe an answer at quarterback would have been found by now. Thus, resulting in a better (at least slightly improved) feeling now about the position going forward.

There is no crying over spilled milk so bygones are bygones. That said, it is unfortunate the Cleveland Browns were (and still are) unable to be a winner. That’s especially the case when they had players who made positive contributions to the team.

Now, given how Cleveland’s franchise has been, a fair way to describe their rosters is below average to average. With the lack of talent over the years, the options to choose from were not ideal and maybe not what one may have expected.

Some, however, were talented still but just missed the cut. They could easily have been considered in the bottom half of the list.

Others meanwhile are on their way to making the list as long as they continue to make an impact for Cleveland. Players who would fit that category includes left guard Joel Bitonio and linebacker Christian Kirksey. So, who did this make this time?
