Jamarco Jones OT, Ohio State Buckeyes

Pro Football Focus described Jamarco Jones as a great “value pick” for the Browns with the No. 33 overall selection in the draft.

With Joe Thomas retired, the Browns need to add some quality depth at the offensive line position, and the longer the organization waits, the harder it will be be to find a viable long-term starter.

PFF wrote of Jones:

"“He improved every year at Ohio State, peaking with an 84.9 overall grade last year and a 98.0 pass-blocking efficiency that ranked 14th in the draft class.”"

Most notably, ESPN Cleveland’s Tony Grossi has mocked Notre Dame tackle Mike McGlinchey to Cleveland with the the first pick in the second round. However, it’s unlikely McGlinchey is going to be around for the Browns to pick him.

WalterFotball.com isn’t as kind to Jones as PFF. The site lists the Ohio State product as their 10th rated tackle, citing sources who don’t like Jones as someone who could go late in the draft.

Those who like Jones have him going on Day 2.

If the Browns come out out of the draft, even if its with the 33rd or 35th pick, with Jones, I like his chances of having success.

Give me a lineman out of the Big Ten over the Big 12 any day.
