Cleveland Browns: 5 rookies who will start in 2018
3. Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
Nick Chubb was compared to Jamal Lewis when the Browns were talking about what they liked about the Georgia product.
He’ll find his way into the starting lineup because he’s basically a Carlos Hyde clone, but younger.
Hyde and Chubb will handle the heavy lifting, but Duke Johnson‘s role as the third-down, pass catching back has been cemented for 2018.
Chubb displayed good vision at Georgia in his ability to make the most of the blocks given to him. He can also take a hit without going down, averaging 3.7 yards per carry after contact.
He was regarded as one of the best “runners” in the 2018 class, so there’s no reason to believe he won’t be starting for the Browns this season.
