Mohamed Bamba, C, Texas

Mohamed Bamba oozes superstardom on the defensive end.

Remember how excited we all got when Larry Nance arrived in Cleveland. His athleticism made us all want to send Tristan Thompson to the bench.

After watching Bamba, Cavs fans may want to bench Nance and cut Thompson.

Bamba’s a shot blocker who would provide Cleveland with a rim protector of the likes the Cavaliers have never known.

Offensively, he’s so raw, you truly have no idea what you’re getting. He could turn into something great, or he could be DeSagana Diop.

With Kevin Love, Kyle Korver and J.R. Smith in the fold for the foreseeable future, adding shooters shouldn’t necessarily be a priority.

But finding someone to drop anchor in the paint? Boom!

Bambi checks in at 7-feet, 207 pounds. In his one season with Texas, he averaged 12.9 points per game–but forget that, because he averaged 10.5 rebounds per contest while averaging just a tad over 30 minutes per game.
