4.CB depth and more lots more talent at safety

It’s clear that the Browns have some very good depth at CB with just the players mentioned, but there are even more solid reserves.

Former Kansas City Chief (and John Dorsey draft pick) Terrance Mitchell should be a good fifth or sixth CB. And 2017 fourth-round pick Howard Wilson, who missed the entire 2017 season due to injury, should see the field, as he is one of the only bigger CBs that Cleveland has.

Wilson was incredibly raw coming out of college, but many NFL scouts viewed him as a possible first-round pick if he had stayed at school one more year.

5. At strong safety, Randall should be a massive improvement over Jabrill Peppers. Randall has better coverage range and instincts than Peppers does. Randall struggled at CB because he doesn’t have great hip flexibility, and had trouble with faster and quicker receivers.

Playing deep safety will allow him to always be facing the QB and WRs, and he can diagnose plays and make his jump on the ball accordingly.
