7. Secondary projections

Projected 2018 secondary depth chart

CB1 – Denzel Ward, Howard Wilson

CB2 – E.J. Gaines, Terrance Mitchell

SCB – T.J. Carrie, Briean Boddy-Calhoun

FS – Damarious Randall, Briean Boddy-Calhoun

SS – Jabrill Peppers, Derrick Kindred

There is still room for one more DB on the roster. Perhaps rookie Simeon Thomas takes that spot, although he is a likely practice squad candidate. 2017 holdovers Mike Jordan and Derron Smith are also options.

No matter how the depth chart ends up, the secondary will be much improved this coming season.
