There are a number of players worth keeping an eye on but for different reasons there are some that stand out more than others.

Outside of the occasional minor roster move the Cleveland Browns roster is set to go for the 2018 season. For the most part, Cleveland did well upgrading and/or replacing key areas of need such as the secondary and running back.

It is crazy to think that just a few months ago Cleveland’s roster overall was disappointing. Now, though, it is great to know that the Browns moves since then have positioned them to be in a new era of Cleveland football.

For some players, the expectations are to see them lock down a starting position for not just 2018 but also the foreseeable future. Others need to prove they are able to stay healthy and be a complimentary piece to the offense or defense.

Then there are those that were brought in either in free agency or trade who will start from the beginning. Will they put up the production Cleveland is seeking from the start? Cleveland can only go up coming off of a winless season with poor play more often than one wants to admit.

Given the roster turnaround, these five players especially are worth keeping an eye on during the 2018-19 NFL season.
