There’s options with Rodney Hood

The Cavs need to keep him if LeBron leaves.

Yes, he was a disappointment after coming over from the Utah Jazz, but there’s enough of his game to like to give him some more looks, especially if James leaves.

Cleveland extended the $3.4 million qualifying offer to Hood and should seriously consider matching any offer Hood receives.

He’s a 6-foot-8 wing who was a first-round pick not that long ago. If the Cavs are developing players, starting with Hood would be a great place to start.

Next: This is LeBron's last chance to sign a super max

Ideally, the Cavs will figure out a way to deal Hood should Koby Altman find a way to manipulate the cap in a way that free’s up cap space.
