By Ryan Rosko
Using parts of the Cleveland Browns organization as fantasy football names are popular. Which ones can be used for 2018?
It is getting closer to that time of year: Football season! Then again, football season for many is year-long. Specifically playing, however, that time of year is coming up and that means getting prepared for fantasy football. For the first time in a while, multiple Cleveland Browns should be drafted much sooner than in the past.
Whether in a keepers league, PPR, or standard scoring, the last two from scratch, there are some decisions to make. From a Browns fan point of view, are you so sold on the offense or defense that you draft as many as possible?
Or is it a wait and see approach under new offensive coordinator Todd Haley? Speaking of Haley, big expectations are placed on him given what he has done elsewhere. It is his job to turn around Cleveland’s offense and make it function.
Regardless, just drafting Browns is only one way to incorporate fandom into fantasy teams. Another way is by tying in Browns related topics and names into the fantasy names. Some are more fit for the long-term while others could be used on a year by basis depending on that individual’s performance.
From the Browns defense to Tyrod Taylor and the talented wide receiving duo of Josh Gordon and Jarvis Landry, there are a number of exciting options. Don’t forget about David Njoku and the talent running back trio of Duke Johnson, Carlos Hyde, and Nick Chubb.
