Everyone knows the starss at Cleveland Browns Training Camp, but what about the lesser-known guys. These 5 under-the-radar players could stand out.

Tyrod Taylor, Jarvis Landry, Myles Garrett, Carlos Hyde, Denzel Ward. The Cleveland Browns have more star power at Training Camp this year than they have in some time.

And while stars make a big difference between winning and losing NFL games, the under-the-radar contributors can’t be forgotten, especially in a cult-hero loving town like Cleveland.

And the truth is the Browns are in an “all hands on deck.” stage of the rebuilding process. There’s no magic pill that’s going to turn this squad into a Super Bowl winner.

Yes, the starts must deliver, but a complete team effort will be required for the Browns to even flirt with the crazy idea of going 8-8.

The great part of an NFL roster is that it goes 53 men deep. No sport is like it. Eleven guys on offense, and eleven guys on defense. Twenty-two starters contribute each week while everyone else prepares to be the next man up.

Training camp and the preseason offer an excellent time to catch up with players you might not see regularly on the field come Week 1 to get an idea of someone who may help the team down the road.

The truth is, you just never know who’s going to step up.

Browns fans can recall Josh Cribbs back in 2005. Few could’ve guessed he’d turn into the greatest special teams player in the last 30 years.

Plus, it’s fun and compelling to watch guys fight to achieve their NFL dreams.

Here’s five under-the-radar players who might catch your eye at Training Camp and during the preseason.
