Due to different reasons, the 2018 Cleveland Cavaliers have different incentives to prove that they can compete at a high level.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will feature some new faces this upcoming season and will be bringing back key pieces from their championship team looking to rebound from past seasons.

One of the more interesting things about teams out of contention is the individual storylines. This Cavaliers team won’t contend for a championship but the organization will be a place for some players to revive their careers.

For the next few seasons, you will see Cleveland feature players that are attempting their first go at the NBA. Simultaneously, you will also see veteran players looking to find their footing once again.

With LeBron James departing from the Cavaliers again, you can expect the front office to fill the team with players that have heart and determination. In previous years the team was molded around one player but next season will be different.

General manager Koby Altman and the rest of the front office will finally have a chance to find diamonds in the rough as well as other players looking to prove something.

In this list, we will discuss three players that are looking to prove something. These players range from undrafted rookies, a former NBA champion and a player looking to prove he deserves a second chance.
