Cleveland Browns: 5 bold predictions for the 2018 season
By Ryan Rosko
The 2018 Cleveland Browns will attempt to show they have turned a new page with general manager John Dorsey’s initial roster.
As the 2018 NFL regular season approaches, there is plenty to like from what has been seen by the Cleveland Browns. There also are aspects where they can improve upon and eventually, hopefully, they will.
Regardless, the upcoming regular season has promise and the potential for growth.
Unlike previous seasons, the 2018 campaign is something the fanbase can look forward to watching. While 1-31 and 0-16 are records in the past, they cannot be completely forgotten.
If the future is good for Cleveland but they needed to get through the past two seasons to accomplish their upcoming success, how does one not be okay with that?
Now with two top four picks, an added urgency for head coach Hue Jackson to win, a great offensive coordinator brought in via Todd Haley, and an accomplished front office, there is no reason Cleveland won’t progress in 2018. The uncertainty at this point, however, is exactly how much and how fast will that be evident?
Cleveland is not going to win the division in 2018 but in 2019 the possibility should become more realistic. That is not to say the Browns do not have talent. They do but in some areas, it is not enough and therefore expectations made should be reasonable. That said, these five bold predictions are worth keeping an eye on for the 2018 season.
