The Cleveland Browns saw their stocks take an uptick following a 5-0 preseason win against the Philadelphia Eagles at FirstEnergy Stadium.

The Cleveland Browns endured some nightmare injuries but came away with their second win of the preseason with the reigning Super Bowl champion, Philadelphia Eagles in town.

The third exhibition contest of the season was a big one for a lot of players, as the game usually serves as the dress rehearsal for the regular season.

In the fourth preseason game, many starters will rest, so this was their last opportunity to prove something to their coaches before the Browns kick off the regular season against the Steelers Sept. 9.

For players not guaranteed of a starting spot, this game offered the chance to show why they’re more deserving of more playing time or making the team.

The game was broadcast nationally on Fox, as Troy Aikman and Joe Buck made their first appearance announcing a Browns home game since the beginning of the 2008 season.

The Eagles. Baker Mayfield. The Browns on “Hard Knocks”. Yeah, it was a big deal.

Here are five players who boosted their stocks as the preseason heads into the final stretch.
