Cleveland Browns: PFF grades highlight Baker Mayfield’s historic night
Linebackers
Joe Schobert, MLB, 89.3: The Browns’ second highest graded player, Joe Schobert had the huge interception at the end of the game that put the Browns’ in the drivers seat to win.
He’s known as a talking machine, but Schobert was even credited with a hit on Sam Darnold.
Genard Avery, LOLB, 66.8: An OK game for Genard Avery, who had a quarterback pressure. He needs to improve against the run. Did solid in coverage, considering his bread and butter is rushing the passer.
Jamie Collins, WLB, 32.1: Yikes. The worst grade for a Browns’ defender.
James Burgess, WLB, James Burgess was the Browns’ highest graded defender against the run (74.2). He only played 19 snaps, and left the game with an injury.
Myles Garrett, DRE, 78.6: After not being seen much during the Saints’ loss, Myles Garrett rebounded with a two-sack, one-hurry performance. He also added three run stops.
Chris Smith, DLE: Chris Smith recorded a quarterback hit while adding two hurries filling in for Emmanuel Ogbah for the second straight game.
Larry Ogunjobi, DT, 75.9: Five tackles, three run stops and two quarterback pressures.Larry Ogunjobi is a force.
Trevon Coley, DT, 48.3: Not a great grade for Trevon Coley, but he did have three quarterback pressures.
