Five Cleveland Browns whose stock dropped during the Week 6 blowout loss to the LA Chargers at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Once the Cleveland Browns lulled their fan base into being crazy enough to think playoffs, the team came out and laid a humongous egg against the LA Chargers.

This was supposed to be a close one. Oddshark listed the Chargers as 1-point favorites, but LA jumped out to a huge 21-3 lead at halftime and the Browns didn’t come close to closing the gap.

These five players saw their stocks drop during the blowout loss.

Baker Mayfield, QB

Two early drops that should’ve been touchdowns to Damion Ratley and Antoino Callaway seemed finish the Cleveland Browns and Baker Mayfield.

The Chargers offense is just too good, and the Browns couldn’t afford to lose points off the board.

It will remain a mystery how Mayfield would’ve played had Ratley and Callaway not missed those throws.

Mayfield ended the game with a 52.6 passer rating. He was 22-of-46 for 238 yards, two interceptions and a touchdown. He was ineffective from the pocket and never seemed to get into  rhythm.

Sometimes, the No. 1 overall pick makes you forget he’s a rookie, unfortunately, that just wasn’t the case today.

Mayfield also threw two interceptions. The second didn’t matter because the game was already so far out of reach.

Mayfield’s the straw that stirs the drink and when he’s not making plays, the Browns are doomed. But the same thing can be said of every franchise quarterback.
