5 Cleveland Browns whose stock dropped in Tampa heartbreaking loss
5. Desmond Harrison
Former Super Bowl champ Jason Pierre-Paul made life very difficult on rookie . Pierre-Paul recorded three tackles and had a sack and a tackle for a loss.
Of note, Piere-Paul had a big seven-yards sack of Baker Mayfield on the Browns’ first possession. It came on third down and forced Cleveland to punt.
It was a rough matchup for the rookie.
You see the pressure he was bringing, as the Bucs, as a team, sacked Mayfield five times.
Harrison was highlighted, again for all the wrong reasons in overtime when he committed a holding penalty on the Browns’ first offensive possession of overtime.
The miscue sent the Browns back 10 yards and the offense died.
It was a tough one for Harrison, who’s been a decent player, considering he’s had to replace a future NFL Hall of Famer.
Pro Football Focus gives him a grade of 58.8, which is considered average.
When you think about it, that’s not really a bad thing for a guy who hadn’t played elite college football since the 2014 season. He finished his college career at West Georgia, and the Browns took a chance on him as undrafted free agent.
So far, it looks like a good move, but Harrison had difficulties in this one.
